At Pride of Southern Utah we believe everyone in the LGBTQ+ community deserves to be seen, secure, and supported. We strive to create a region where every individual, no matter their identity or background, feels valued, protected, and uplifted.

Through advocacy, resources, and community-driven programs, we work to ensure that no one feels alone in their journey. Whether it’s providing safe spaces, access to information about critical services, or amplifying voices that need to be heard, we are here to make a lasting impact.

Together, we are working towards a future where authenticity is celebrated, safety exists everywhere, and support is unwavering. Because every human deserves to thrive.

OUR Mission.

Pride of Southern Utah is dedicated to advancing opportunities for visibility, connection, and inclusivity in our region by creating spaces and dialogue that celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community. We do this by creating community, providing support, increasing advocacy, and promoting awareness at the personal, commercial, and legislative level.

Our Core Pillars.

  • We commit to active involvement in local and state efforts in support of legislation and decisions that positively affect the LGBTQIA+ community. We stay informed and keep our local community updated by working closely with our community partners who are leading the charge at the state level to work towards policy change.

  • We build connections and foster belonging by offering and supporting a diverse set of events (as well as supporting other organizations creating events) that celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and build safe spaces for us all to exist. 

  • We locate, share, and collaborate on the creation of resources vital to our community — focused on identifying safe businesses, medical practices, and social workers. We leverage our network of partners to provide access to these resources within our region. We actively support and promote affirming organizations and businesses.

  • We practice active involvement in our communities through volunteering and group participation. We strive to make our community a better, safer place. We invite collaboration with all like-minded groups and individuals to create a safe and supportive society. 

Who we serve.

Pride of Southern Utah currently serves Washington and Iron County. Most of our events take place in: St. George, Hurricane, Springdale, and Cedar City.

While we have connections with local PRIDE organizations in Kane, Garfield, and Mohave County (Arizona) counties — we do not yet have an established presence in those areas. We are committed to helping promote events and supporting other PRIDE organizations in counties and cities across Southern Utah.
